Anyone else saw Jim Hammond as an easter egg in the film (irony?)? They should have included Namor too to complete the trio.

That's funny, since Chris Evans was recycled by Marvel just like that tin fire bot was...

first things first: i didn't think that the girls had huge racks in the movie.

story line in the beginning was pretty good... i wish there were more Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
epic deaths for major protagonists in the story.
maybe it was the storyline outline but i wasn't sad when Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
the cap plunges into the arctic

at times story seemed a little slow.. i liked the beginning because the cap was someone i could get behind.. but i lost that feeling as the movie went on..

better than GL, worse than Xmen, better than Thor, worse than Iron man

I liked it, but maybe that's because I went into it with pretty low expectations.

Actually, I do have one question.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I never read the comics, so maybe those who did weren't surprised by the fact that CA survived around seven decades in that plane, but I certainly was. I know it was mentioned that he has amazing cellular regeneration capabilities, but he also has an incredibly high metabolism (no food!), and he's still human. Can someone with more insight into the comics please explain this to me, or are we just supposed to go along with it?

taken from marvel wiki;
Captain America represented the pinnacle of human physical perfection. He experienced a time when he was augmented to superhuman levels, but generally performed just below superhuman levels for most of his career. Captain America had a very high intelligence as well as agility, strength, speed, endurance, and reaction time superior to any Olympic athlete who ever competed. The Super-Soldier formula that he had metabolized had enhanced all of his bodily functions to the peak of human efficiency. Most notably, his body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles, granting him phenomenal endurance.
