Correct. Not bespoke, not measured (generally). Just more options in terms of leather, color, burnish, waist, etc...

Having said that, the folks at EG will take fit requests and make minor adjustments. Worth it for certain shoes, others less so.

Does EG have bespoke or MTM service? Never heard of it. I think TD is a good option to get something really rare,something that is almost not available in the RTW line.

EG used to have a bespoke service run by Tony Gaziano. Now Top Drawer is their MTM service.

Edward Green to stop bespoke operations

haha deutsche solidaritaet...war vor ein paar wochen in London und bin bei EG vorbei gewandert aber habe keine hubschen verkauferinnen gesehen

While Top Drawer is certainly more expensive, it's hardly close to bespoke prices, unless you're talking about Hong Kong or something similar.

Well, there are some shoemakers in Vienna who do bespoke in this price range or even below it. However, I don't know how useful it is to judge the EG top drawer prices based on these offering since it is probably impossible to know for an outsider if materials and manufacturing/finishing methods of these makers are worse/equal/better than those of EG TD: It could be that EG TD prices are justified because the savings for not making an individual last are compensated by more expensive materials, more refined hand crafting and higher wages...it could also be that EG just has a really high profit margin on its TD shoes.
