Armenak has this "Tresham" on its website by C&J. Has anyone seen this shoe elsewhere? I'd love a shoe like this or similar. Any others out there?

C&J is normally not my thing, but that pair is really nice. It is worthy of inclusion in a sfer's collection and being photographed on a nice oriental rug.

If only we knew of an sf'er with a digital camera, an oriental rug, and a penchant for shoes . . . .

not to hijack this thread, but i saw these c&j drummonds in ebay. they're using the new 348 last, i believe

To the original poster -- I think Alfred Sargent has a pair like that in its range of Premiers or Premier Exclusives. Good quality, lower price. Or contact C&J Paris -- they;ll be happy to sell to you, although Handgrade (which those are) are now 520 euros including VAT.

Unfortunatley C&J Paris didn't have them the last time we spoke. I asked tried C&J UK to try and track down a pair for me and, alas, they were unsuccessful too. If you do find them, please share the information.

I have a pair of Swanseas on the 348 - full brogues in pebble skin with rubber soles. To me the 348 is more of a dress-ified country last, it lacks the elegance and slenderness of the 337.

This I like. But I fear the wing extends back so far as to crease once worn. I hate that.

Those c&j drummonds are really nice. Every time I notice them I think the same. Very sleek and elegant. Would also make a nice black business shoe; sleek and far from boring!
