I never said it doesn't, hell, I am current working pro-bono on a project about raising awareness of the issue in Vietnam....my point was more that the OP came out and said 'look at all these disgusting white guys with their ugly whores in Thailand, why would they do that' while conveniently ignoring his own backyard and his own people. I was more disturbed by the pretentiousness of the assertion than anything else. Oh - and it's always the fat old ones on mopeds that catch your eye....

^^ Sorry if I sounded pretentious. Never said that it doesn't happen in India or anything like that. It's just a person is more concerned and aware of what is happening right in front of him like when I saw all these odd couples staying at my hotel or there in the restaurants and shops. India has lots of problems of its own related to women and children in all their forms. Certainly didn't mean to imply that we are better than the Thais or anything like that.
