Do we have any actors/actresses here? I've been quite interested in dramatic arts lately and was wondering if anybody has taken courses in the Los Angeles area that they could recommend.

Anybody else taken interest in acting?

Nothing creeps me out more than a room full of Thespians.

My secret weapon is my "full fathom five" soliquoy, which typically reduces the room to stunned silence.

Can't be as good as Arthur Kade's 'Greed is good' masterpiece.

I got a B in drama for GCSE. Although a pretty poor mark that I just barely scraped I was quite proud of it - I was horrifically hung over for the final performance and fell asleep during the written exam.
Does that count?

Connie's a thespian. Or acts like it at least.

Of course, the thespian would simply check in and not report in.

I took an acting class with Carl Weathers. He also makes a great stew.

I am maybe the exact opposite of an actor but I like them and normally get along with them pretty well; I revere them for what they do on stage and they- being shy- revere me for what I do in life...actors are cool, they are -to me- the agents of manifestation.

I am in an acting class to fulfill an arts requirement so I can graduate, it's actually pretty fun. For my midterm I did part of the long monologue from Christopher Durang's Laughing Wild.
