Girls who are out of your league.

I know that there will be many of you who don't think that there's such a thing as a girl who's out of your league. I'm not talking to you.

I'm talking to those of you out there for one reason or another, are sufficiently insecure/realistic enough to realize that certain types of girls are probably out of your normal range for a variety of reasons.

The question is this: Does anyone have any interesting tales to tell about punching above your weight? What happened? I'm looking for some inspiration here, but I'll settle for entertaining stories of failure.

dude, mine is WAY out of my league. Has been for 5 or 6 years, but it's still there. She is extremely smart (Ivy educated), hard working (as an architect for a very well respected firm), eloquent, classy, caring, and beautiful (people say she likens to Mrs. Hepburn, especially eyes and hair ... she was even asked to try out for a modeling agency while in Europe).

I scratch my head on a daily basis.

How is she out of your league if you kept her around for that long?

He didn't mention the quality of her eyesight.

I think college made a big difference. We went to the same school, and it was full of terrible looking people. This helped my cause tremendously.

She wears her contacts way too long. This must certainly alter things.

For some reason, I have always seemed to out-kick my coverage.

apparently. I'm nothing special, but I didn't dress like a slob like 90% of the other males on campus. I think this helped.

Worked at a hip-hop club, kind of stood out as the white guy with long hair (women loved it when I had chin-length hair, for some reason), punched above my weight with a few beautiful black women. Nothing that worked out long term.

Girl I dated in high school and the first bit of college was out of my league, at least physically. In retrospect, taking into consideration things other than physical appearance (I'm overweight, but with a remarkably thin and handsome face) she is not out of my league - but at that age things like intelligence, education, and pretty much any other factor are not in the equation. The relationship was great until I started to get bored. Also, it really exploded when she switched to a school out of state. For me dating a (naive, dim) girl out my league who I knew would be getting schemed on 24/7 made for some pretty unflattering jealosy. Turns out it was well-founded, but that's not the point.

More recently when I was home for winter break I met, and subsequently took on a date, a girl that is also out of my league in attractiveness (but not as lagging in the intelligence department). Was a total rush. Unfortunately I had to come back to Knoxville to finish my last semester - hopefully will have updates in the future . . .

They didn't like how it wasn't long down there like it was your hair?

One girl told me to give her all nine inches and make it hurt. So I fucked her three times and punched her in the face.
