So the plan was for his granddaughter to get the five million dollars on her eighteenth birthday? That seems kinda stupid. Who in their right mind gives an eighteen year old that much money to do with what they will? Suppose she is a dumb party girl who goes through it in one year; it's just bad grand parenting.

At first first I thought he might eat a bullet but then I realized Mike wouldn't go out like that. Also, Walt's promise to Jesse about no one else having to get hurt anymore since they are in charge didn't last very long.

Of the nine people who receive the legacy pay, how many really know who Walt and Jesse are and can directly link them to Mike? Did any of them work in the lab or were they just Mikes guys on the distribution side of things?

Walt and Jesse have NO way of knowing what these nine know. One or two, however, worked at the laundry and at a minimum know what the guys look like.

Well we'll find out next week. I'm thinking it will be time for Walt and Jesse to go underground at which point they will not only have the DEA after them but Declan as well. I think Skylar's worst fear will come to pass when Declan shows up looking for the methalymine.

I think we're going to see a full blown split between Walt and Jesse next episode. Mike was a father figure and Jesse isn't going to be happy about that.

You know he is going to manipulate the situation for his own ends. I don't think he can hide it, it will be all over the news.

No, because he has no way of getting to them unless he arranges it w/ his new partners, and Walt doesn't have that type of relationship with them. Walt has to kill Lydia. With the 9 unknowns now cut off from their hush money he knows they'll soon flip, and since she's the only one not in the slammer she'll be named. Lydia's the only one who knows Walt and Jesse.

Guessing here, but I think episode 9 will involve Jesse saving Lydia's daughter. In doing do he up ends Walt's plot, putting Lydia into the protective custody of the DEA. In the episode Jesse kills Todd.
