I believe the cartel is done. I see a threat coming from the Multi-national corporation that Gus was tied to. Big Pharma is the biggest cartel after all.

I believe this could be key too, but believe they will need to start pushing more hints to it soon. Otherwise it won't feel natural when they evolve into a large threat. Not that many episodes left in the season, even when you count those coming next year.

I don't think anyone else at Madrigal has anything to do with Gus's operation besides Lydia, the warehouse security guard and the guy that killed himself.

I agree, but then who is Walt preparing to storm with the gun from the first episode? I can't imagine they would go so far as for that scene to mean he was after Hank and the DEA unless we are missing a lot of context.

I disagree, as usual they will be two steps behind and will only be there to figure everything out after all the shit has gone down. Everybody just ending up in prison would be anticlimactic.
I think the scene where Walt and Jr. are watching Scar Face foreshadow the end, "everybody dies in this movie". As in Scar Face, I think Walts'
main protagonist will be the Cartel or some other criminal organization. One has to step on a lot of toes when making an empire.
