Found a few areas where they might cut corners.

1. Leather supplier. If they paid more, probably they won't have the stretch mark problems.

2. The insole is made of composite materials? The Hungarian bespoke shoemaker Marcel builds his shoes with only leather.

3. Midsole made of scrap leather cardboard-like material. From what I can see, Marcel uses full grain leather and carves it.

Can anyone see more differences? You would probably presume I'm a "Grenson-hater", but I'm not. It's just that every brand name shoe-making vids out there look all the same, I'm curious in what sets them apart from each other.

From what I could tell, those were lower line shoes in that vid, probably Rushden range. I didn't see one Rose shoe which are very well made.
