Denim + that muffin top....

Thread Starter
Not really sure if this belongs here or over in clothing. I suppose it can go in either. But I'm sure the same people prowl both these sections. Anyway... So I got on to the raw denim boat. Got my first pair and have been wearing them for bout three months. They're an excellent experience and really good at motivating me to work out/run. Which brings me to the point of this thread. How many of you guys wear tight denim and muffin top? How many of you have busted your ass to lose that shit? And what methods did you use. I started working out and running and doing cardio since the start of the new year. I'm pretty sure I've lost an inch (or two?) on my waist: I slipped into some slimmer Express jeans this weekend that were once my perfect fit, or so I thought, and it almost fell off. I could stick both my arms down my pants and still have room to stick another arm there. So I know I definitely lost some fat. But I still have some when standing up which is not really noticeable but it's just freaking disgusting when I sit down. Am I just not giving myself enough time or am I just doing it all wrong? If you looked at me you'd never think I was fat. All the excess I have is in my midsection. I'm seeking genuine comments, opinions, and advice. I don't bruise easily so say it like it is. Besides finding a new thing to be enthused about, I hit up these forums to read the witty and funny comments other people post. And no I don't plan on taking an "supplements" or diet pills or whatever. I don't think anything else has motivated me to get me into shape as much as this one pair of denim but after like three months, I feel like I need some opinions on where I stand. Even if it means taking pictures of myself for people all over the world I don't know to critique. I guess I should insert the obligatory, no homo here too huh. I'm sure many of you are in my boat. Maybe? Yes I'm vain as shit.

Aw gross. I wouldn't wear jeans until I lost it, because until you do lose it you'll be "the chubby guy who wears tight jeans and has a muffin top"

It's normal for bellies to not look too great when sitting down unless you're in the single digits for bodyfat, but still, it looks like you're carrying a lot of fat there. It's good that you're already exercising; now try eating less. Lift some weights, too, if you're interested in improving your overall physique. Muscular with a bit of belly is not nearly as bad as skinny with a belly.

Holy shit, there is a forum dedicated to men who want to get...fatter. Epic. And op, dude, you aren't really that fat, but those pictures are fairly disgusting. Probably the least flattering photograph I have seen on this forum, ever.

getting into slim raw denim means your body needs to stay the same for a long time... basically as long as you plan on keeping the jeans. so when/if you lose the excess those jeans won't fit you properly anymore. stay fat for the jeans or lose weight to look better and then buy new jeans. myself, i used to be 10 lbs lighter last year. fkin sucks, and now my goal is to lose the weight by 2-3 months later. after this happens i'll be able to fit in my samurai and fullcounts again.

Whoa, are you telling him to stay fat so his pants will still fit? This is more bizarre than OP's post.
