FAIK they halted production when the recession started. haven't heard anything further than that.

Wearing the rigid straight zips right now. They had some on revolve not too long ago for about 120.

I've got a pair of NWT LDB 36 /32 that's never been worn. I could sell them cheap..
What would be a good alternative to the LDB then? Something with a similarly generous thigh measurement...maybe KMW 2010?
I also loved the bluish-green tinge they got as they faded...is there anything out there that fades similarly?

Oh man, I'm a 33-34 waist and I'd probably be looking for a 32 to account for stretching...I wouldn't think you could take the waist in that much without screwing up the cut of the top block, could you? There was a guy selling a lightly-worn pair here in my size a few weeks ago but they sold before I saw the thread. I'd pay handsomely for a pair in my size!

I emailed Godmother in the fall about where to grab a backup to my LDBs. She actually replied and suggested trying this place:

I didn't end up following through but they still list 5EP as a denim line they carry, so a phone call couldn't hurt.

I'm wearing my 32 waist LDB's now, bought them in new condition off the forum about 5 months ago, by far the best jeans i've ever seen, if anyone knows somewhere still stocking them i'd happily stock up on another couple of pairs for the future.

I haven't tried this season's RB6. They last did it like 06/07 and it was pretty full. I saw them in Barney's the other day and they looked fairly big in the thigh, and like they had the slightest bootcut a la the LDB.
Also not quite sure how they'll fade.
