Papermate Titanium -- inexpensive, about the right size barrel. Most important, it has a massive "twist" eraser, and when you make as many mistakes as I do, that is very useful.

I have a Yard-o-Led that takes 1.2 mm lead -- does anyone know where I can find a lead pointer for that width of lead? There is a Japanese gizmo called the Tortoise that was made but it apparently is no longer available. Any leads on the real 3 inch Yard o Led leads (as opposed to the current leads which are now shorter) would also be appreciated.

Why on earth would you want 1.2mm ? I've tried .7 and I hated it... too thick. .5mm is the best.

I like this but I use the tip to write so it wouldn't work for me. It's the reason i hate those bulbous monstrosities with crappy tips.

It's not a question of want, g33k. The Yard-o-Led only takes one width of lead, 1.18 mm (sometimes rounded up to 1.2 on certain sites). That's why I'm looking for the pointer.

That reminds me, you have a package waiting for you here. Send me your dad's basement's address.

I use a Draft/matic.

Great pencil, but that extended tip makes it: a) sharp and b) fragile.

The pleasure of using mechanical pencisl imo is that they are so sharp. Even .7mm isn't the same. With 1.2mm, you may as well use an regular HB pencil.

I saw a guy using one of these the other day, and wanted to ask him what it was. Think I will try to find.
