Thus you all have a problem with people studying theories. This thread smells of censorship.

Did you study logic at Trinity?

"Black cats are bad luck" is a theory.
"The world if flat" is a theory.
"Alien abductions happen all the time" is a theory.
"The earth orbits the sun" is a theory.

Thus you believe that each of these should be taught with equal credence and emphasis at all universities.

Also, if you're to try to speak with authority on issues relating to academics, you might want to see if your school has a dictionary defines "censorship" and some classes in basic grammar.

Certainly not the ideal data, but creationist belief is pretty consistent across time according to the 1982 to 2004 Gallup poll posted here: http://www.religioustolerance.org/ev_publi.htm

It concerns me because many of our fellow citizens are unable to think critically.

I wish I had your problems

Creationism is not.

Actually, preliminary data shows that newer generations of fundamentalist Christians are shedding the socially conservative beliefs of their parents and grandparents...but not Creationism. Then there's the whole Texas School Board thing, etc. Even if they're not growing they certainly are not without their outlets of power.
