Is is socially acceptable to 'audibly' pass wind while there is teeth brushing?

There seems to be a trend for some people to each day religiously brush their teeth in the men's bathroom at work. I was confronted today with a situation. For most of the morning my belly had been rumbling, and I had to do some clenching. Once I got to the men's I thought I could release the fury without any fear of social reprisal when I shocked to see one of my colleagues enthusiastically with brush in hand giving his mouth and teeth a whirl. I think he had half his arm down his throat while frothing toothpaste around his mouth. I left the bathroom without release and my belly continued to rumble. Was this the gentlemanly thing to do? What is the social etiquette in this situation?

Go big or go home. He's got toothpaste near his upper lip to cover the smell.

F him, I for one dislike the fake minty (or whatever) smell of most tooth pastes. Plain paste or Marvis FTW!

Unleash the Kraken. A bathroom's primary purpose is human waste disposal. Your rights supersede his.

A world in which farting the bathroom is not acceptable is a world gone mad.

Is this thread real? Yes, fart away. If there is a guy passed out on the floor and someone giving him cpr, yea, maybe it's not the right time to demolish the bathroom but short of anything bizarre like that have at it.

Embrace your inner flatulence. Or, rather, release your inner flatulence.

I would hold off and find another bathroom. I spend an ungodly amount of time in my work day looking for a bathroom.

Since when did men become concerned about the sounds/smell of their bowel movements?

Next thing you know people here will start a topic complaining about girls being airheads and dressing slutty................................................too late.

also, he's the one brushing his teeth in a public bathroom. It probably already smelled like fart when he got there.
