So I know this question has been asked before, but I guess i'm looking for some specifics.

Here's the deal...

I've tried about 3-4 beard trimmers over the years (wahl and norelco being my favorite), but I have yet to find one that has a guard that gives you something shorter than a beard and something longer than a "no guard" trim.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a beard or hair trimmer that has ultra close guards? Seems like it's no guard or full on beard and I'm looking for something in between.

Thanks

You're new here, so you may not have noticed there's a subforum called "Health and Body" which is intended for posts on grooming.

Either one of these 4 apparently are great beard trimmers:

Philips Norelco 5100
Braun Series 7
Wahl 9854-600 Lithium Ion
Panasonic Milano ER-GB40-S
