The new season is about to begin. Still pissed they are changing the bats - it will spring the score down and players are already complaining that it's a big adjustment, "like hitting the ball with a wet newspaper." Anyway, here are the rankings from Baseball America:

For some reason, college baseball sounds so good on the radio. Don't ask me why.

Also I get to start umpiring baseball again in a week and a half!

It does sound great on the radio. One of my favorite things about spring - putzing around in the yard or in a jeep, listening to the radio. Great times.

Umpiring baseball has to be the hardest of all the sports (maybe basketball's harder because it's so subjective, but still....). Who do you ump for?

Just little league but its for one of the richest parts of Atlanta...parents there can really suck.
