Keep it short, like these guys are saying. The side benefit is that you won't be ripping out as much every time you style it.

I love this place, but seriously, this isn't where you want to take care of your thinning hair. Visit the forum I mentioned in my first post. There's some great information on what is proven to work in stabilizing and regrowing hair. There's also a large community with people who are going through what you are and are using the proven treatments. There's also a success stories sub-forum, where you'll be able to see incredible transformations for people who were proactive in their battle against hair loss and were great responders to the aforementioned treatments.

There are a few billboard advertisements around this city for maile hair growth solutions. Ironically, to me at least, the before pics showing balding hair on the billboards often look far better than the after pics showing hair.

yeah, aside from minoxidil and finasteride (ketoconazole? really? you learn something new every day), there's not much pharmacologic options.

hair transplant seems like the most effective way.

if you have the jawline/face for it, I'd shave it all off. and get a tan. I wish I could pull off the shaved head look, but very few asians can.
