Charles Tyrwhitt Shoe Sale - Page 2

how long can I expect this to last? I'm DYING to get the leather chukka boot and a wholecut, but the paycheck doesn't come for about a week.

That's crazy...I didn't know about the 100 off 250 code.
Yet I will resist...I'm in the process of becoming a minimalist.

Nice find.

Use a credit card.

Screw it... just ordered the wholecut (Norwich) in black and the chestnut derby but only 1/2 size down. If they don't fit there's always the free returns...

Damn damn damn. The chelsea boot is only on sale in black, and they don't make the St. James loafer in brown. Damn.

I just realized, I have the unfortunate distinction of being a US 12. This size is bad, because it's the border between half and whole sizes. Some US 12s are tight, most are just right. So, do I go a half size up to a US12.5 (UK 12) or down a half size to a US 11.5 (UK11)? I ordered the Brown Semi-Brogue and Chestnut Derby, if that helps. -Jeff

Maybe. My problem was with heel slippage.

Oops...I did it again.

Couldn't resist a pair of Brown Semi Brogue and a pair of Black Square Toe Boots (I know, I know...but they look un-Kenneth Cole like). Can't beat 85 bucks a piece. Thanks for putting a fresh hole in my wallet, norcal.

I'm really happy there is nothing I want. The cherry suede brogue boots are very close in style to those J. Crew boots I have so I am safe there. And I already own the Norwich.

I noticed that CT has free returns from the U.S. But does it also offer replacement with free shipping? In other words, if the shoes turned out to be too tight, for example, would the company replace them with a size up at its cost?
Norcal, or anyone: is there a code that goes with the 100 off, or is it just the link? It's killing me that I can't finagle this deal for the brown chelsea boots.

I broke like a twig.

"Brown Country Leather Derby" on its way to me.

(It seems the free shipping is only through the UK website. I tried ordering from the US site and they tried to add shipping charges. When I went through the link provided at the beginning of this thread there was no shipping charge).

Thanks norcalTransplant & SF!!

Am I understanding this sale correctly?

The shoes on sale are marked $135, down from $285. If you get two pair of the sale shoes, you go over $250 in cost and get another $100 off, for a total cost of $170 or $85 per pair (that's $200 off each pair). And no shipping to boot if you order of the UK site.

Is all of that correct? If so, I need to get over to a CT shop to checkout how a few things fit.

What is G-fit by the way? How wide is it? Is is like an E or a EEE? I'm an 11E and while have been lazy and buying standard sizes for the last few years, I get a much better fit when I search out a wide shoe.
