What are good non-greasy/anti-shine face moisturisers?

Hi guys

Greetings from London and lately when I have been going out clubbing and to parties I have noticed my skin is really shiny and "wet" even though I only apply the usual peanut size amount of moisturiser. And this really sucks when photos are being taken and seeing my face really shine through (pun intended).

Anyone have any suggestions on what are good non-greasy/anti-shine face moisturisers? I'll look up any suggestions you have and appreciate your help!

i like neutrogena oil free moisture http://www.neutrogena.com/econsumer/...itive-skin.jsp oil free, not greasy feeling, or "shiny."

To preface this, I don't know if sunscreen moisturizes, but if it does I'd recommend MenScience Ti-02 SPF 30 face sunscreen. I have oily skin and it actually leaves my face looking more matte than if I hadn't used it.

I've found the Shiseido men's line works wonders:
http://www.sca.shiseido.com/catalog/index.cfm?brand=24

The hydrating lotion works great for general use and is not oily at all. I use the energizing formula as after shave and it's amazing stuff. They also have an "anti-shine" refresher which I've tried but doesn't work very well.

Their cleansers are also great at reducing general shinyness.

The only drawback is it can be slightly pricey and is never on sale.

My face wash is life brand. Neutrogena stuff is both relatively expensive and useless in my experience.

What are your thoughts about the Shiseido Men Moisturizing Emulsion ? I am currently using the Hydrating Lotion as a day time toner/moisturizer and it is working great.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I was also thinking, anyone know what kind of "ingredients" or formulations should I look for in general when searching for such moisturisers/creams as well?

Theres a vichy and la roc posay cream that I use. It's purpose is for issues like yours. You can find them at CVS. Ask the girl who works in that area for free samples, they have plenty.

First of all, a good oil-free moisturizer with SPF is a must for everyone. Kiehl's Facial Fuel is the best I've found.

As for shiny skin, it's pretty hard to manage with product, in my experience. I've tried a few anti-shine lotions but none of them work that well. There are some alcohol-free toners that claim to reduce excess oiliness with consistent use, but I can't be bothered to break out a cotton ball and apply that stuff twice a day forever.

The best solution seems to be a quick blot with a clean cloth or paper towel. You can carry a cotton hankie, or just blot your face real quick every time you visit the men's room.

Look for non-comedogenic, so the moisturizer won't block pores. I use the Cetaphil moisturizer you can get at many places (CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc), it works great.
