Hi all,
I'm in Italy for the next few days and had some questions I thought forum-goers might be able to help with:
1) The duty free store in Fiumicino had Campari without any indication of how it was colored - no E-number either. Is it possible that this is naturally colored with carmine and they just didn't list it? Wouldn't EU regs require the E-number to be on there if it was artificially colored?
2) Any good restaurants in Milan I should check out? Preferably approachable on a student budget.
Suggestions for wines are also very welcome! I suppose I should be on the lookout for good local Nebbiolo?
Many thanks.
