Super Troopers has some of the funniest scenes ever, especially the opening scene.

"Littering and... littering and... littering and, uh.. littering and, uh.. ..."

"You ARE freaking out... man (man man man man)"

"Do you know why I pulled you over?"
"Because I vas driving vay too fast..."

"So Johannes Chimpo is saying... Do not allow the Great Satan to tempt you mit the Vestern vays. You must remain loyal to ze Taliban varlords."

Club Dread. Jimmy Buffet had previously been a rather under-appreciated comic resource.

My top four, hard to chose one...

His Gal Friday

Bruce Baldwin: He's got a lot of charm.
Hildy Johnson: Yes, it comes naturally; his grandfather was a snake!

Some Like it Hot

Sugar: Water polo? Isn't that terribly dangerous?
Junior: I'll say. I had two ponies drowned under me.

Sleeper

Luna Schlosser: I'm great physically. I got a Ph.D. in oral sex.
Miles Monroe: Yeah, they make you take any Spanish with that?

Animal Crackers

Capt. Spaulding: [to Mrs. Rittenhouse and Mrs. Whitehead] Let's get married.
Mrs. Whitehead: All of us?
Capt. Spaulding: All of us.
Mrs. Whitehead: Why, that's bigamy.
Capt. Spaulding: Yes, and it's big of me too.

This Is Spinal Tap...or Elephant. They both have their moments.

Definitely. The Apartment, too.

It's really a shame that Peter Sellers died so young; he was, without question, the greatest comedic actor ever.

I'm not sure if Christopher Guest's stuff will hold up very well over time because it's so referential of pop culture. That kind of stuff has a tendency to date very quickly. "Remains of the Day" lunchboxes?

Yeah. And I don't get Dumb and Dumber. I was at a house party last weekend and when I went into the living room this was on. I really don't uderstand the appeal. There are decent film comedies such as Monty Python and Some Like It Hot, and then there are slapstick, gross-out comedies such as Anchorman and 40 Year Old Virgin, and while I can't respect them as films, they both made me laugh my ass off. D&D'er just of meanders in the middle of the road. Too few gags and too much inane crap. I dunno', I just kind of felt left out because everyone thought it was sheer hilarity and I'm like, "Huh?" *EDIT*: Not trying to insult anyone's choices, I just recently saw the movie for the first time and I'm kind of confused.
