Anyone have any experience with the dance studios in DC? I am planning on taking salsa and Argentinian tango lessons with a lady friend. Thanks!

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

You can theoretically dance tango every night of the week in DC. Check this page. The same is also true for salsa though don't have a site on hand to share with you.
For what it's worth, I tried out the Beginners' Argentine tango class at the Eastern Market last night. It was my first tango class ever and it was very good.
As for dance schools, I have had very good experiences with the Dance Factory, which is in Arlington but easily accessible via Metro. They have tango and salsa group classes.

DC Casineros teach Cuban salsa every Tuesday.
SAOCO teaches salsa at the Salsa Room (formerly Cecilia's) in Arlington.

I took salsa lessons at Joy of Motion. Alas, the location in Dupont Circle is now closed. The locations in Bethesda and Friendship Heights are easily metro accessible.

One of my friends who is a pretty avid salsa dancer dances at the Clarendon Grill and swears by his coach/instructor at the Salsa Room in Arlington. If you're on the Blue/Orange line this might be easier than anything on the Red line. If you can stomach going into VA that is...
