Would be awesome if so, Kevin McKidd and Ray Stevenson were great: http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2010/...bo-rome-movie/

I don't know how I feel about this at all. Vorenus and Pullo are one of my favorite buddy teams, but without any of the surrounding cast I'm not sure I'm as interested.

Damn, I need to watch that first season again. Cieran Hinds as Caesar was great.

CBS is going to flip the bill for production, but they insist that the movie be named "Everyone Loves Titus"

Ray was kick ass in Punisher II.

As much as I love this show, I dont think this should happen unless its all the original crew working on it.

This sums it up perfectly.

WTF? They actually tied up the series nicely, which is uncommon for an HBO show. How on Earth could they bring it back? The fact they they'll have to come up with something off the wall to bring back Vorenus pretty much ensures it will be a suck fest.

Doesn't have to be that off the wall. Vorenus recovered, Pullo lied to Augustus/Octavian.

Was stabbed in the side in Egypt, made it back to Rome, and recovered from his deathbed? Yeah stranger things have happened but I still hate when they do shit like this.

The craziest part of that is surviving from Egypt to Rome via whatever backwaters they had to travel. Surviving once he's in Rome is almost reasonable in comparison.

This is good but unnecessary. What I really want is a Deadwood movie

+1

Damn, I miss that show.

They never showed Vorenus dieing. It was left like that intentionally because there was always an idea that they might do something more with the series one day.

Vorenus/Pullo is one of my all time favorite friendships. Some of their duologue was pretty funny too.

I thought they killed the show because it wasn't bringing in enough money to justify the huge costs of producing it (100+mil)?

Maybe it's easier to make that sort of money with a movie, and it's certainly more deserving of a movie than say Sex and the City, but I think they should leave it alone.

If they do bring it back though, hopefully the actor that played the young Augustus would take over from the older one. I thought he was much better.
