Sunny Sports: Spring/Summer 2012 Preview


Spring is coming soon! Here is a quick preview of some of our favorite pieces from the Sunny Sports spring/summer 2012 collection. Sunny continues to feature their playful beach life attitude combined with extremely well constructed Japanese craftsmanship and fine Japanese fabrics. We are excited to expand our Sunny offerings in spring adding more accessories and shorts as well as continuing to stock the best work shirts and button downs the season has to offer. The madras checks are my personal favorites!

Sunny Sports: Madras!


Our first shipment from Sunny Sports spring 2012 collection has arrived and by far our favorite of their collection was the Madras checker fabrics. The colors are terrific and the fabrics super soft to the touch and will be so comfortable. The fabric has gone through a washing process giving it a wrinkled texture and that pre-worn look. The shirt is great for summer and great to throw in the travel bag for the warm weather get aways.

Sunny Sports: Spring 2012 Work Shirts


We are excited to see the newest editions from Sunny Sports. This shipment of work shirts include two old favorites (red chambray, washed denim) and the brand new white chambray 1940's railroad work shirt. All 3 designs are beautiful colors for spring, but can easily be worn year round.

* Thin yet durable 8oz denim fabric is used to reproduce this 1965 style work shirt and a vintage wash including paint splater details for the used look
* Combination of triple needle chain-stitch and double needle chain-stitch

Sunny Sports: Short Sleeve Chambray Work Shirts & Chambray Shorts


New from Sunny Sports, chambray shorts and short sleeve work shirts. Chambray is great fabric for summer wear. It is lightweight, breathable, absorbent, quite soft and becomes even softer with wear. It is also naturally wrinkly so no worry about ironing, and obviously great to shove in a suitcase for the warm weather get away. The chambray featured in Sunny Sports garments is produced on selvedge looms in Japan and has a medium weight making it both durable and easily wearable for year round wear.
