Please remember this thread if you are ever again tempted to start anything even remotely similar to this.

I'm sure one of us will have the decency to remind him.

Seriously, I don't get it. What's so difficult about this, Conne? It's not like you struck out to be a shredded up dude or anything. Dropping 10 pounds over the course of a couple months isn't a difficult thing.

My guess is that you tried to change everything overnight and in turn, failed miserably. Small changes built upon one another over a longer period of time is the most effective way to make sure there's a genuine shift in how you live.

You've posted countless times for advice on everything from what to eat to what gym to join. You've made this a case of mapping out everything to the most minute detail to a point where that's supplemented actually following through with any of the changes.

cook for yourself every night, unless you have a date. I'm pretty sure you know what's good for you and what's not.

Make your lunch every day. Even ham cheese and full fat mayo sandwiches would be better than your current snacks. Pop a low fat yoghurt in your lunch.

Go to the gym 3 times a week.

Won't work. The word "treat" doesn't appear anywhere in that plan.

If someone like Matt can lose 4 kilos in sixteen days, there has to be hope for all of us.

I oculd always go on a liquid diet.

Mmm pureed Chips Ahoy.

Or you could just get a backbone and realize you're swapping feeling good about your body and yourself for a lot of really unappealing "food."

I cannot image the look in your eyes when you disrobe before entering the shower. I mean, most bathrooms have mirrors. What's staring at you? Just some puffy-nippled average guy? Man, maybe you would be better off with an Everquest wife.

Connie, it strikes me that you have well over 29,000 posts.

Perhaps this issue also has something to do with too much time sitting inside in front of the computer?

Re: your recent post that you "hate your body," well -- learn to love it. Out of that love you may find respect, and out of that respect the will to "just do it." Attitude can have a material impact on your progress (or lack thereof) in this area.
