Cut out the orange juice and cookies and that's a pretty good day.

If you're going to have toast I'd for sure cut out the OJ. Scrambling eggs in olive oil really isn't a negative thing.

If you want to get incredibly picky about it, just swap out the olive oil for olive oil spray.

I only sound stupid if you don't pay attention. It's not "low carb." It's removing simple carbs. Big difference. Keep up the fiber, keep up moderate amounts of complex, just get rid of the simples (to a massive degree).

So, you coming out for lunch when I'm there? You'll have to be nice as Mrs. Piob will be with me.

Why? In what parallel universe is olive oil not good for you? Sprays are ******* disgusting. Another tool of fat americans, like ellipticals and low fat cheese.

I never said it wasn't good for you. If we want to get picky, Why is the one who's made that claim.

Perhaps cutting out the toast would be a good idea as I really like to have bread (sandwich) at lunch. P.S. one addition to today's log: 1.5 tbsp. unsalted peanut butter.
You need some low calorie snack alternatives to processed ****. Have you thought about cutting up a cucumber into slices and dipping or marinating them in low calorie Eye-talian dressing? Those are good. I also used to eat pickles. The phallic resemblance might appeal to you. Definitely have some apples and pears around. Food that takes a bit of time to eat is good too. You won't get into a habit of out-eating your appetite if the meal is paced. That's why peanut butter is dangerous. It's good and can be healthy if you get a good brand, but it's nearly 100 calories a spoonful, compared to about 80 for an apple that takes a few minutes to eat. An extra spoonful or two here and there, and you've blown your calorie deficit for the day.

You could also just not use butter, olive oil, or spray for cooking eggs. I haven't done this in years (didn't even do it when I was a lard ass) and eggs always tasted good to me. The only exception to this is when making omelets I use a small bit of butter.

Also, I don't know what types of pan you are using but if it is nonstick then don't use spray.

I know olive oil is not bad, but I was just commenting that if he's going for a "diet" thread, it is odd to include the seasoning (salt and pepper, which doesnt affect his diet) but to leave out the oil, which does.

I use butter with eggs, olive oil, or peanut oil for fish. I poach my chicken and almost never eat red meat.

Yes, but 'simple' and 'complex' are amorphous superficial distinctions. They hide the underlying physiology are highly erroneous beyond the simple Soda = Bad, Cabbage = Good dictum.

When will you be there? I'll be in North Carolina until April 4th.

Olive oil spray tastes nothing like olive oil. It's pretty repulsive stuff.

No I didn't.

Because chicken soup, tea leaves, and orange juice all taste distinctly different when changed from one form to another and are very different nutritionally. I mean, really, eating tea leaves being comparable to eating an orange is just silly.

Indeed, but it was silliness in response of silliness. I don't know if you've ever done a blind tasting, but colour and consistency of food has a major impact on the appreciation of (the taste of) it. Saying one doesn't get people who drink a fruit rather than eat is....well let's just say I don't get it. Just ******* accept it.
