Huge waves struck Louis Majesty cruise ship on Wednesday, killing 2 and injuring many.

Damn. Any more info like where the ship was? That seemed to come out of nowhere, were they close to a coast or in shallow water?

Yes, apparently hundreds if not thousands of ships have gone missing/sunk because of freak, massive, rogue waves. Sometimes even on smooth seas. They just appear out of nowhere.

There's some interesting research being carried out in this field - google "rogue waves".

Not to be insensitive--just a casual observation and curious, but do many European news anchors wear clothes like that (namely the tee under the blazer?)
