Grenson

These don't get much play here, but I've been a fan of these for a long time. I have two pair of Grenson masterpiece collection (similar in quality to C&J Handgrades) for dress shoes, and they are easily my favorites. I reach for them more often than my Edward Greens.

I also picked up a pair of brown pebble boots that Grenson did for Rag & Bone. Quality is unreal and the styling is just right.

Looks like Revolve just got a shipment. Just copped these and couldn't be more excited:

How do Grensons fit generally? I usually wear an 8EE in Alden Indys and AE's. A UK8 should fit or would it be too narrow?

UK size +1 = US size. I like the kirks. They are really expensive at forward though.

Waxy leather looks amazing.

Agreed. RFX, they'll probably be too narrow for you since you usually wear a wide, go up a 1/2 size. My feet are one the wide side, and the shoes fit me fine.

i was just lookin at those same shoes...does revolve allow "revolve coupon codes" to be used on their "forward" website?

They don't have half sizes though and I think a UK9 will be too long and narrow.
Sucks because I really want the tan wintips.

I tried "TULIP" and it took 15% off.

$100+ cheaper at pediwear.co.uk. FWIW, I wouldn't buy anything from their Rushden line again. The Grenson Masterpiece shoes are fantastic though. http://www.pediwear.co.uk/grenson/products/2613.php http://www.pediwear.co.uk/grenson/products/3038.php

Free shipping both ways, you might as well give it a shot.

IMO, Tricker's Stow are much better than Grenson Sharp/Fred boots. I think that the Grensons have a slightly nicer shape, but quality-wise (leather and construction) there's no contest. I wear the same size in both (1 size down from US dress shoes).

I'm considering these because there really isn't any reliable retailers for Grenson, Church's, Trickers, etc... in the U.S.

I've had good experiences with Pediwear, though they are overseas (expensive return shipping if they don't fit).
Exactly the problem, sizing and shipping. I often get hit with custom fees as well plus I heard horrible shipping stories on Pediwear. I read some orders doesn't arrive for 3-4 months or longer at times.
