I have a lot of free time so I've been watching this. It's actually been getting progressively better as the season goes on. Less hilarious 2d CGI splatter in the foreground or background and less CGI hilarity in general. It's a nice twist on the gladiator tale simply because it shows someone starting from the bottom and truly being forced to find his humility before he wins. Still not a GREAT show, but a good timekiller (did someone mention the fights, blood, and lots of boobs? Boobs everywhere. Every crowd shot you'll see boobs. Boobs boobs boobs.)
