Thoughts on the shade of brown belt that would work best with this buckle?

Had originally planned to go with a very light tan, but now thinking about a more traditional dark brown, not sure how it would jibe though.

After scouring the internet a pair of suspenders similar to the ones above, I can't find a single option
I just want some simple, slim, brown-leather, button suspenders with brass details.
Can anyone in this thread help me find someone who can recreate these? For an adult, obviously~

Context has a nice set of leather braces for pre-order, but they are wider and have toggles rather than buttons. I would also be very interested in finding the pair that you seek.

Is Unlucky still making stuff? I'm looking to get a new wallet and I really like the ones made to look like the flat heads.

i'd go for a natural veg tan or burgundy Chromexcel to get some contrast.

Thanks, I agree...ended up going with a lighter colored brown, so we'll see how it looks.

I need a nice belt for 2012. Does unlucky still make stuff? How can I get in contact with him?

I have some serious bag that I would like to commission. Looks like Nicholas Hollows is taking a loooooong break. Besides, shoulder bag starting from 600 sounds bit too much, when Saddleback shoulder bags are around $550. Recommendations will be appreciated.

All questions regarding unlucky (Scott) can google up 'dont mourn organize'. And yes, he does do bags.

Yep, check out this one unlucky just made for me smile.gif

Mike,

Yep Scott seems to be THE man. We are thinking 6 months project. Super stoked.

scott is the man. I don't know why it took me so long to finally act on it, but I replaced the LGC bridle belt (quality was pretty shotty) with a waxy black harness belt which i read about on mike's blog
http://indigoshrimp.wordpress.com/2011/04/17/waxy-black-harness-belt-update/

actually really excited to get this belt up again, I sent him the buckle and keeper so the price wasn't bad at all.

I'm kind of weird about buckles more than leather. I'm considering replacing my EG quick release belt (it's so scratched up) with something a bit more elegant and my old as fuck go to banana republic belt which is my go to belt

Just received my bag I ordered from Scott 2 months ago. I could honestly say, his work is AMAZING. Any one looking for a leather bag, stop and email him. Uses top quality leather. Can't ask for more in a bag.

He was super pleasant to work with. I was really annoying iwth my rookie questions and all, but he was really nice in explaining everything to me. Highly recommend him for anything from belts to wallets to a bag. Bag is sturdy and is made with top notch quality! If ya debating about getting one from him, STOP! Get one from him and you'll be amazed
