Is Unlucky still around? The website no longer seems to be working.

Anyone ordered or heard anything from him lately? Or am I a bit late to the game... seems like Corter also no longer does custom-made.

Looking for a bifold wallet in natural (for patina) with burnishing (finished) on ALL edges. Who's the best vendor to buy from?

Thought this recent article written for my blog might appeal to the SF leather fraternity.

Although fairly short, I hope it will give you some insight into a very much overlooked town, Walsall and its association with the Leather Industry,

Situated in a Midlands area known as The Black Country due to its previous heavy industry and the resulting smog and general gloomy atmosphere, it is recognised as the heart of the English leather trade, especially the Equestrian and Saddle industry.

Hoping you enjoy my efforts.

I have been bouncing around these halls for nearly 4 years, and I just found this thread. I am a custom leather goods maker located in the US. I have multiple products all of which are hand sewn. A briefcase I recently completed.

Feel free to PM me with questions about all things leather. I am looking forward to talking with some other leatherworkers as well.

Hello everyone,

Bring this thread back from the dead!

Here are a few pics of my latest bag. It is a commission piece. Customer requested a bag that resembled the Louis Vuitton Greenwich Neo.

The bag is made with Horween Natural Chromexcel. Fully hand sewn with beige fil au chinois linen thread (size 432 @ 6spi)

There is a shoulder strap, strap to secure this bag to his rolling luggage, luggage tag, padlock with keys and clochette.

Riri zipper, polished nickle hardware, cream canvas lining.

:(Gotta cross posting my question to hope for answer from other artists

Below is our first jacket attempt but I really can use some advices and improvements:

- How can we effectively bond 2 skins together? I knew Prada and Belstaff, Burberry did some with their unlined/bonded leather jackets very well. We mainly use glue, bread roller for this attempt.

- And have anyone lined tge interior with linen? I have not seen and thinking about experimenting on linen fabric as lining for jacket.

Anyone know someone near NYC/Long Island that could replace the leather upper of a sandal, probably one of those generic two strap styles where both straps stem from a single piece of leather, with a new piece of leather (and cut to shape as well)?
