Just tried it and I get sync errors within chrome. Based on the comments, I'm apparently not the only one with that problem.
Anyway, my linux situtation is temporary. Once I get my ESX server up and running I won't need to do much browsing within linux itself since I'll be accessing VMs from my 7 box which has chrome installed.
