Still stupid, IMO, to do it only for the playoffs.

Week 17, a team is beaten by an OT FG, costing them home field advantage in the playoffs. Next week, instead of a bye, they face a team across the country from them, and in OT, they kick a FG, and then lose on their opponent's possession.

= SUCKS.

+1 i do think that this helps ot, but i do think it should involve the regular season as well. its not like those games arent important
