Is this overnight bag overpriced (Varvatos) ?

While it may be expensive, its a great looking bag and I'm a total sucker for a good duffel, though it looks a little bohemian esqe for my taste.

Yes, great bag.
That said, after looking at prices of other items on the website (eg: $600 calfskin shoes), it seems there is a definite "fashion markup" on this brand. ie: Overpriced.

Brunello Cucinelli does not play around as far as quality is concerned, but the Varvatos is more attractive. I think the Varvatos is quite nice, but $1400 is expensive for a duffelbag.Originally Posted by uluvbs
I agree. The average person would think the Varvatos is "cooler" The Cucinelli looks like something that could ALMOST be mistaken for a 1978 $3 garage sale handbag or a bag found at Target or Walmart. That would never happen with the overpriced Varvatos
