I have searched up and down for this: is Michael Bloomberg in any way affiliated (venture capital, seed money, on the Board, etc?) of Bloom Energy? Or is it just convenient that he was touting the product in a press release last week and has a similar name?

This was the subject a segment on last Sunday's 60 Minutes. It seems the inventor and investors are much more optimistic than disinterested parties when it comes to the reality of this product replacing the power grid.
