those 60s ACs are fantastic. IMHO worth the money in repair bills. nod[1].gif

Fuck you people who can play loud amps. My 4watt amp is too loud for an apartment.

Yeah, this is the first time it's really been properly serviced, and it just has a fantastic tone - I'm really enjoying it with a modulated delay.

My neighbor (a shitty cartoonist) in NYC hated me with my 50 watt Two Rock. But the thing is I would play for about an hour on a fucking Saturday early afternoon. Construction was going on on my block (right outside my window) starting at 7 AM most days for a majority of the summer. But god forbid I play a little guitar for a bit on a weekend. He would leave really obnoxious, passive aggressive notes taped to my door. I left a note with my number on his door asking if we could work out a schedule like gentlemen, but he never called, just kept leaving notes and banging on the wall.

That having been said, I plan to purchase a 50's Champ for when I'm back in the city so I'm not always playing such a big amp.

Group shot of all my pedals thus far. Not enough interconnects nor power supplies to have them all running at once shog[1].gif

Does Guitar Center do trades? I have a honeyburst LP, but I kind of want a black custom. I don't want both. Is there a way to trade with them somehow?
yes, but they'll screw you with a hilariously low price on the trade in.

Yeah, I figured. Probably better off selling mine and then using the $$ to get the other used.

An amazing number of great, classic rock albums and guitar solos were recorded using nothing more than an old, Fender tweed Champ turned all the way up for that warm distorted sound. Steve Miller said, "A tweed Champ and a Les Paul Jr is THE sound of Rock 'n Roll". icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

At least give it a shot, remember the trade-in value is only half the equation. Personally I'd rather give a few bucks away on a deal than have to screw with selling something privately.

Yeah, I guess it can't hurt, especially since I have a guitar center right near my work. How's the Two Rock, btw?

Good luck! I really hate to admit this, but I've only fired it up once in the last several months. Been working a lot this year and my son started kindergarten (early to bed and early to rise), so there have not been a lot of opportunities to sneak off to my man cave and make a lot of noise. I tend to play a lot more during the holidays so hopefully I can recondition my fingers and get back to where I was last winter! smile.gif

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a delay/loop pedal, mostly to lay down chord progressions and improvise over them. Am I right in thinking the Line 6 DL4 is my best bet, or should I look into some other ones?
