The full collection:

Magnanni Benito monkstrap

Particularly like the Magnannis.

I suspect that's the reasons they could be found at a steep discount.

???????? Bizarre.

perhaps 7 eyelets is the correct number for a shoe with quintuple stitching

PS, I quite like Magnanni. If I were forced to buy a Nordstrom-ish mall brand, I would have no problem with Magnanni.

I don't think there's any 'correct' number of eyelets, but 7 eyelets in that said shoes does look far more balanced than say, 3, 4 or 5 eyelets due to the 5-row stitching.

And 3 eyelet berluti wholecut look balanced as well, but could look off balance with if its 7 eyelets.

I was kidding, 7 eyelets is borderline stupid, but I might still wear those shoes.

At least it is an odd number. Things look better in odd numbers. Even boobs.

The term "Grail" is not to be used lightly. With the help of a SF member, I recently got a "Grail" of mine...

A BEAST of a shoe for today, but about average when compared to many of the Jurassic Period pairs from the 40's & 50's.

^^^  iconic shoes.  Definitely on my grail list too.  Tremendous construction -  the v similar 'Golf' got almost a perfect score in Last  for combination of looks-value for money, construction, design, material and comfort

Last time we saw a pair of these was i think Chikalot's -
