Good stuff! I saw a pair at the shop a while back and they looked fantastic. I wouldn't be surprised if they lighten up a bit over time. I'm sure you're correct that they'll age nicely. Wear them well!

That said, some lasts will have more bottom radius than others...often more for aesthetic reasons than functional.

And overzealous bottom filling, especially in the case of GY, might create a bulging forepart, as well.
