thank you. not particularly vintage.

i have some of these from the time before i moved to custom made trees. they are useful due to the screw mechanism. i like them, too.

Overall quite nice. Shape and finish quite nice.

Interesting the way the decorative stitching on the side/lacing overlaps. I'm not sure I'm digging that one tiny detail. But that's a minor nit!

Does that happen to also have a functional purpose in terms of keeping the tongue from moving back in forth? If so I feel much better about it than not.
