About 10 e-mails, aggravation, and poor customer service?

Hah! I actually picked those puppies up from EG for Rebel. If only I knew what trouble lie ahead...

170 GBP. Also, I think those may be older. There was a good link about how to date EG shoes. I'll try to find it. Edit: Here it is. Yours appear to be from pre-80s because they have the "Made by" text. Someone translated the text of the Japanese article about how to date EGs. That nail pattern is really old. That's the same nail pattern on many EG for Brooks Brothers, which are 70s and 80s.

Sole quite thin in the centre, heel nails like that make me slide all over the place and would like a new inner.

Bontoni Monk Straps in Antique Brown.

I was a bit nervous about the monk strap itself (typical of Bontoni & Berluti- doing something "funky"), but when the shoes arrived today, I'm VERY glad I pulled the trigger. The antiquing is awesome.

Anyone have any idea of age? I'm thinking of sending them off for a recraft but they do have that old shoe smell (kind of like an old bookstore...)

These are lovely! I think they would look better in dark brown.
