If I get to use your money, it would be hard to find ones that aren't perfect. smile.gif

I thought you always knew when you see a Dover to run for the hills?

thank you for reminding me of this great tune.

actually, i don't "hate" the dover. it's a shoe, nothing else. in my pov and at the end of the day i'd rather spend my money on a nicer example of this style. not many around, though.

frtizl, albeit grudgingly, concedes the Dover is a decent shoe.

Just kopped crazy at Yoox, 2 orders of 500 euros. I bought 2 pairs of Lidfort for 165 euros each, prices just went down a bit today. I guess more SW&D than MC, but after another pair of Tricker's this week, I needed a bit of Italian touch.

It's not the Dover, it's the JL version, the Chambord IiRC

well, that makes sense. the apron is smaller on these and the last looked different.

actually, i have four pairs of norweger. i love them. just not the dover due to the different stitching patterns. iirc, the heel/sole balance is not very good either.

And I bought these only because I couldn't find the Dove on discount and full price was too steep for me.

I like them both. You can't go wrong either way. I was wondering why the country calf texture looked different! Nice shoes.
