Something about those boots brings to mind the term 'StoBtruppen'. But In a good way. In any case they look very 'authoratative'. Groovin' on the chalk stripes too.

Are they a true grey, or was the color originally lighter?

Looking good NORE. Regarding the balmoral, I too picked up the size 11.5. Fits great albeit a little long

Thanks. It's officially milkshake suede. A light cream color. I guess my camera is janky.

As I have stated before I wore these shoes on average 3x week and have walked farther in them due to the comfort factor more than any other shoe I own. I've had them for what, over a year now?

To me the shoes are the equivalent of a woman with C boobs going and getting a boob job to have DD. The Oundle is great shoe and there are creative things which you can do to make it unique. Making it out of shell is just not an improvement.
