The Chelseas are a muddy dark brown/grey color that is not attractive. It looks much worse than the rich brown online. The suede quality is surprisingly mediocre (short nap, almost no movement), and worst of all they made my feet look like that of a mini Keebler elf, and I don't think I have a small foot (9-9.5 on the wide side). Both the Chelseas and Dovers are E width, 9/9.5.

Radica from Ilcea- an Italian tannery. Aniline calf with hand 'padding' for the mottled effect.
Martegani uses it; AS too.

mcarthur, an especially pleasing combo since you're giving Gaddafi a kick with the soles.

From Brooks Brothers, no less.
I also ordered the EG Chelsea suede captoe. It is on the 82, and is fugly in real life, so it's going back. For once the BB website makes something look better than it does when you actually see it in person.

nice moo, hope you caught a nice sale

Nice, Moo - did they finally list the lasts or did you have to wait to find out when they arrived?
