Yes, they're olive green Greens, but the color is considerably darker than pictured. They've been darkened and antiqued almost to black, which, I recollect, is what I had asked for. Indeed, Tony must have had the patience of a saint to deal with my requests. Note the two symbols which I couldn't get to photograph properly at the inner heel.

The design is heavily inspired by one of Jun Kuwana's Henry Maxwell shoes. Tony got the chiseled toe just right -- elegant and sleek.



Note the German toe plate. The deeply cambered (or fiddled) bevelled waist is another thing which may not show well in the picture. I made a point of requesting that, too, and Tony came through. I also asked for the convex blacking on the waist, which is neatly done, wheeled too.

I haven't yet worn these -- Tony told me to give them a dozen wears before judging the fit. I want to start tomorrow!
