I will get to that in a little bit. On vacation but I will try to find some time to do so. I would definitely recommend trying them on, they fit VERY close. Comfortable though.

I just purchased these on ebay from Italy. BIN was 230 euros, I offered 140 euros and did not expect the seller to accept it (I bought once from her previously some Silvano Sassetti double monks). Retail for these is aroud € 350. This will be my first pair in shell cordovan. Is ANDREA VENTURA Firenze a good maker? I've only seen some AV shoes on Yoox.

great deal you got!

I ordinarily don't get Ferragamo main line, but these were too beautiful to pass up. Seems as though they have also improved quality since the last pair I bought.

Yep! I thought I would like the 002 better, but actually preferred the 001.

And nice shoes spoo, those look pretty sexy.

They are absolutely beautiful.

Summer sales on Jermyn Street next week though so little chance of excess liquidity

Thanks Bengal,
I actually went there after you mentioned this in another thread.
I really want to get the full experience though, choose a patina from Pierre's selection of jars and try the different lasts and styles.

Now, if Corthay were included in the Harrods sale I'd be more tempted
