Thanks for the comments guys - but at the end of the day - they are just Shoes. Perhaps I am less 'scientific' in my approach. I like Dark Oak and I like the 888 Last. I have not yet had the pleasure of owning a pair of Vass. Perhaps one day I will, if nothing other than to undestand all of the SF hype.

That would look fantastic in a lot of different shades of brown. I'd like to see it in a antiqued dark brown.
