Shoe Damage Report & Shoe P0rn Central - Part II - Page 1354

post #20296 of 20750

Cross post from the Japanese shoe thread: A bunch of pictures of my pair from Hiro Yanagimachi. They are MTO on his new international last, and since that is made after the feet of @Stefan88 who as mentioned above basically is my feet twin, the fit is great. Hiro's MTO shoes are made to the same standard as his bespoke shoes, just on standard lasts (semi bespoke is also available). The level of craftsmanship is superb.

Hiro's international last is very well balanced IMO:

Tapered heel:

Hiro does a real blind welted bevelled waist:

The shoe trees are made in a Japanese factory:

+1!
@RogerP
Do you prefer the EG Austertity brogue or the Lobb Warwick? Apologies if you've covered this already elsewhere.

Beautiful boots, Mcarthur. Why do you change your lacing style, working up from the bottom?  Does this have functional value or is it cosmetic?

I notice that the shoe on the right (in this photo) has slight creasing across the toe box.  I have had this happen to my newish (first pair of) boots. Is it a feature of how the boots wear in?  I have not found it in any of the shoes I have. Thanks and best wishes, M.
