I like them a lot shoes Jazz.Congrats.

From pics it seems they are really elongated from the ball.  Do they fit you well?

I wouldn't say well... but well enough :)  A little tight on the toes. Remember that famous Fernando Lamas quote, "It is much better to look good than to feel good."

My patina on a pair of Gaziano and Girling; left before, right after.

So many fantastic International shoes being shared here. Thought I'd throw up some from the USA.

Johnston & Murphy 100's Handmade Oxford Captoe. Made on a custom last for the former head of the manufacturing floor in the J&M plant.

Sadly (for me) a US 10D (his RTW size). I usually like something a bit more "unique", but they are pretty perfect as a classic oxford captoe, IMO.

Yeah they are great! I think it's printed cordovan leather, and the two others are Russian reindeer.

I love exotic leathers and am lusting after some RR shoes. However, I am still worried about its reputation of cracking. Passed on 2 pairs in the last year because of durability rep alone.

Yes, the story is fantastic and the leather sure has character, but as far as shoe material goes it's pretty lousy in terms of durability. I could see myself buying a wallet, card holder or something like that in the leather, just to have something made of it, but never spend the high amount needed to get a pair of shoes in it, which is likely to crack and get ruined long before all my other shoes will.

Some pics of a pair of Cheaney Imperial Holyrood in Bronzed Espresso. More pictures and a review on the new English version of my blog.
