Cross-post from the EG thread . . .

Not my auction but someone with large, narrow feet should scoop up this amazing pair of exceedlingly hard-to-find Windsors:

Full disclosure there are 11 not pictured that I have to sell or are relegated to bar duty.

I would go for shell but it's unobtanium at this point. I go where the deals are and right now my gut tells me it's better to pre-order and lock down everything this month and pass for the rest of the year.

And yes, I know, I have a problem.

That's enough for 3-4 pairs of bespoke deposit. Quality > quantity.

Very impressive.

Of course there are so many different directions you could go next, but I've got a feeling you'll figure that out for yourself eventually.

They were pretty much all boots and more casual wear and I focused on getting details or leathers that were unique (split toe or mountain ram). I plan to focus on semi bespoke for Oxfords but My issue is I can't get a proper bespoke fitting from the European shoemakers and the American ones don't seem to suit my style.

That's unfortunate. The best casual shoes and boots are made bespoke. Have you tried John Lobb ST. James? They travel to a lot of cities in the US.

That's actually pretty close. It's Gaziano Girling Grant, TG73 and Midnight Blue and it was an MTO.

I have a few (all KW) but they are seriously hard to get a good fit in. Might revisit this in the summer / spring but lately I've just felt like I'd prefer to wear boots for casual. Might be the weather.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm hitting critical mass so I should slow down and maybe get one or two really awesome shoes from now on after this latest batch comes in.

I think you may have looked at the wrong one? Unless the camera is playing tricks on me, second from left in the back row is not snuff suede.
