Thanks, my man.  AE doesn't get much love in the hip crowd, but I've two new pairs of shell boots lately and they are filling my heart with joy.

Very cool Mimo. I will own black shell one day.

Is it black? Looks navy on my screen

Such is the other-worldly glow of black shell.

I wear black shoes far less often than brown, and almost never casually.  But this changes everything.

I agree. Not sure why black shell gets such a bad rap. It does glow and acquires lots of character as it ages.

Black shoes in general have very bad acceptance on this forum. Even at GMTOs, people don't take black but deco black or bleached black.

Cleav, forgive me for asking,  but do your normally use shoe trees?

Thanks I have been wondering what the milkshake Moriartys look like in the flesh.

It's a SF thing. I'd love a pair of black jumper boots in shell. Skoak came close to fulfilling that wish with their latest pre-order offering, but I'm not a fan of the whole frankenstich thing.

Schweino - that's a heck of an instant bal boot collection. Love the pine calf & milkshake suede combo in particular.
